Scott: Because you’re bored. I’d be bored in a lifeless relationship too, but just because you have an “itch” doesn’t mean you should go hook up with someone else! And, I’m sorry but I have to ask: what are you doing to contribute to the excitement in your marriage? Probably not a lot when you’re sitting around thinking about other men touching you all the time.
Don’t get me wrong – there’s nothing wrong with fantasizing about someone else but when you’re done with that, it’s time to come back to reality and the lovely life you’ve created for yourself.
You’re married with a kid, and that’s clearly what you wanted at some point in your life. Do you not want it anymore? Think seriously about this because an affair always starts out hot and ends in complication and agony.
