Best meal: Restaurant inside the Holiday Inn Winward Passage on the waterfront (rack of lamb was superb).
Best deal: Vendor’s Plaza on Veteran’s Drive – souvenirs at a good price (handmade jewelry, tie-dyed shirts, hair braiding).
Best time to go: Any time. We were there late October to early November.
Best travel tip: 1. Stay left when driving on the road (British influence). 2. Having a car allowed us to sightsee at our own pace. 3. Avoid the cruise-ship crowds.
