Man sought who allegedly beat girlfriend, took infant
Police are searching for a man who allegedly beat his girlfriend and ran off with their infant boy on Sunday, police say.
Jesus Antonio Milan-Nieto, 24, is being sought on a domestic-violence arrest warrant for allegedly injuring his girlfriend, said John White, Denver police spokesman.
At about 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Milan-Nieto struck Zulema Salcido, 28, and took their son, Miguel Milan-Salcido, from their home at 4235 W. Bayaud Ave., White said.
“We’re concerned that there was a domestic-violence incident,” he said.
Milan-Nieto was driving a two-door, late-model Mercury Cougar. The primer-gray car has a red top. The infant’s exact age was not known, White said.

Plea deal expected in ex-officer’s case
A former Denver undercover police officer, accused of threatening a woman after she refused to let him post pornographic pictures of her on the Internet, may enter into a plea agreement at his next scheduled court appearance Thursday.
Damon Bolden resigned from the department on April 1, but he had been under suspension because of allegations that he harassed the woman in November 2005 in a pair of messages he left on her voice mail.
His resignation was one of the conditions of a plea deal that is in the works, his attorney, Kerry Rohweder, said.
“We expect the plea agreement to go through, for a deferred judgment that comes with the conditions of resigning, a two-year probation period and that will be it,” Roh weder said.
Bolden, 41, is charged with harassment, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail.
Bolden, who worked undercover vice and narcotics, also had a side activity that involved taking nude photos of women for a porn website.
After a photo session involving two women who included a former girlfriend, the women opted not to sign a release giving him permission to use the images online.

Cities’ worries delay nuke-waste decision
After some Front Range cities raised concerns about costs, a regional panel postponed a decision Tuesday on whether to allow low-level radioactive waste at a hazardous waste site about 70 miles east of Denver.
The Rocky Mountain Low Level Radioactive Waste Board said it would decide on May 30 whether to allow the site in eastern Adams County to accept naturally occurring radioactive material and technologically enhanced radioactive material, which might include byproducts from oil and gas production and radium processing.
The Deer Trail Facility is run by Clean Harbors Environmental Services, based in Braintree, Mass.
Colorado has licensed Clean Harbors to accept low-level waste, but the facility still needs approval from the compact board.
Adams County is challenging the state license in court.
GUNNISON
Memorial for mother, boy set for Sunday
Memorial services for a Gunnison mother and her 9-year-old son who died earlier this week in Hawaii will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gunnison County Fairgrounds, according to Rick Barton, pastor of the New Song Church in Gunnison.
Tyler White, 9, was swept out to sea Saturday while swimming with his brother, Aaron, 8, in strong surf on the eastern side of the island of Kauai. Their mother, Jennifer White, 32, swam to Aaron’s rescue and brought him ashore. She returned for Tyler and was unable to save him. A bystander said she was hit by a large wave before washing ashore.
Paramedics revived her but she died Monday at the Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Her husband, James White, and their daughter, Kylie, 4, were also on the island, where James is building a custom home with his brother.
“Jen” White will be buried in Illinois, Barton said. Tyler’s body has not been recovered.
