Brad Pitt remains unsigned to appear in “Ocean’s 13,” and his buddy George Clooney is not happy, the Sun in London reports. Production is scheduled to begin July 21 in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Pitt has been holed up in Namibia, Africa, waiting on girlfriend Angelina Jolie to give birth to their first child. A source told the Sun: “Brad has not been able to confirm 100 percent that he will be available – and that’s making George very anxious … People are worried that (Pitt) will prefer to carry on being a dad rather than go back to work.” Clooney is producing and starring in the third “Oceans” film.
Tom Cruise took his 13-year-old daughter Isabella’s advice about the mother of his new baby, Kate “Don’t call me Katie” Holmes. “After I began dating Kate, Bella looked at me and said, ‘Don’t let this one go. She’s the one,”‘ Cruise told Good Housekeeping magazine for its June cover story.
It didn’t take long for the rumors to swirl about Britney Spears’ marriage. Only days after announcing she was pregnant with her second child, a source told Life & Style Weekly: “Once the Spears family gets its game plan together, the idea is to spring a divorce on (Kevin Federline) without warning.” Spears’ rep denied there are problems with the marriage to MSNBC.com. An insider told Life & Style that Spears threw out all of Federline’s liquor because of his heavy partying ways.
A source told MSNBC.com that Tori Spelling may be pregnant. Spelling and actor Dean McDermott married last weekend in Fiji. The star of the VH1 series “So NoTORIous” was spotted shopping at Petit Tresor, the baby goods store celebrity parents flock to in Los Angeles. Maybe Spelling was just shopping for Spears or Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes. Spelling’s rep said, “I have no idea. I thought you were going to ask me if she’s really married or not – and I haven’t even been able to find that out.”
Michelle McLaughlin has joined the fray in her sister Denise Richards’ divorce brouhaha with estranged husband Charlie Sheen. McLaughlin told Star magazine Sheen’s parents are hardly doting grandparents to 2-year-old Sam and Lola, 11 months. “I can count on one hand how many times (Martin Sheen and his wife, Janet,) have chosen to see the girls,” McLaughlin said.
Kanye West’s company, Konman Entertainment Inc., is being sued for failing to return or make an outright purchase of a leased Mercedes G500, tmz.com reported. The lease expired in January, and according to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the car was not returned. The plaintiff, DCFS Trust, is suing for $53,747.15, the value of the car.
The appellate division of the New York Supreme Court refused to hear Sean “Diddy” Combs’ appeal of a lower-court decision Tuesday ordering him to pay more than $19,000 a month in child-support payments. Combs originally was ordered to pay $35,000 a month to ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton- Brim, mother of their son, Justin, 12.
Ashlee Simpson had rhinoplasty surgery April 21 to remove a bump on her nose, Us Weekly reported. The singer, 21, “is as beautiful as ever,” her rep told the magazine. “When the swelling goes down, it’s going to look really cute.” Too bad they didn’t fix Simpson’s voice.
