Rose Hill Drive
This Boulder trio’s tight, bluesy stompers have drawn comparisons to Queens of the Stone Age and garnered them spots at Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits. This summer they will release an EP and album, but first they’ll play an intimate show at the Hi-Dive. Get there early – their shows at the Fox Theatre have been selling out. Saturday at 7 S. Michael Friedman Jazz Quintet
Friedman, a bass player and co-founding member of Dotsero, will be backed by keyboards, saxophone, guitar and drums at his Thorntonfest appearance. See him Saturday at 108th and Colorado at the Marketplace Stage. 1 p.m. Free.

The silver-voiced roots-rocker, formerly of Rainville, will play a solo acoustic set at Everyday Joe’s coffeehouse in Fort Collins. With Katie Herzig, Saturday, 144 S. Mason St. 7 p.m. $10.
Peggy Mann
The Top of the Rockies’ People’s Choice winner for best female vocalist has been playing regular Monday night sets at The Inn at Cherry Creek. Check out the soothing sounds at 233 Clayton St., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Free.
