Highlands Ranch’s Thoman chooses BC

Jaclyn Thoman, a point guard who helped Highlands Ranch High School to the Class 5A girls state basketball title this season, announced her decision to play for the Boston College Eagles. She made the announcement while surrounded by friends, teammates, family and coaches at her high school.

“(Boston College) hasn’t recruited any guards lately, and I think they are happy to have one now,” Thoman said.

Thoman was Gatorade’s Colorado player of the year after she averaged 18.3 points her junior year.
