130 and counting: As Colorado celebrates 130 years of statehood on Aug. 30, Colorado Proud is organizing the “130 Years, 130 Dishes” recipe contest. State residents are invited to submit recipes in four categories: main entrée, soup/salad, side dish and dessert. All primary ingredients must be grown or raised in the state, and each recipe is limited to a maximum of 10 ingredients. Winners will be announced on Colorado Day, Aug. 1.
