How does your garden grow? Pretty well, we’d imagine, if you were among the thousands of high-altitude gardeners who shopped the Denver Botanic Gardens’ 57th annual plant sale.

The popular fundraiser kicked off with a garden party and first-dib sales held the night before gates opened to the public. Amy Slothower and Beth Sundberg were the co-chairs, and their committee blossomed with such knowledgable green-thumbers as Mary Schaefer, Barbara Baldwin, Leslie Baldwin, Janet Ellis, Judy Grant, K.K. Harvey, Sheilagh Hudon, Kay Malo, Patty McConaty, Meg Nichols, Stephanie Sabga, Jaala Sheldon, Chantal Unfug, Lea Urbana and Marilyn Wilson.
