“Best of the Rest, Vols. 1 and 2” If you’ve spent time on Denver’s 16th Street Mall, or been to a Rockies game at Coors Field, you’ve seen – or at least heard – Adam Stawinski. He’s better known as the Clarinet Guy, the musical equivalent of the Broncos’ Barrel Man. He’s been around, well, forever, and now his street act is available on CD. The recordings were made on Denver’s famous pedestrian mall, and include its unique ambiance: the clang of the shuttle buses, the chattering of businesspeople and tourists, and Stawinski’s trademark tap-tapping. To get the discs look for him on the mall any day of the week, or at 20th and Blake on game days. You’ll get both discs for a $10 “donation.”

explore-rocky.com Why anyone would want to tour a national park online, rather than drive, bike or hike through it? It’s a legit question but Estes Park photographer Jesse Speer’s site is almost good enough to justify a virtual-only visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, the nation’s sixth-most-visited park. He’s got hikes, panoramic photographs and other goodies, but the best feature is the Trailhead message board. Users post notes about the best hikes and camping spots, share their own photos, and trade stories about, for example, how a faulty map led them to get lost. Driving directions to Rocky Mountain National Park are there too.

“Where’s Waldo: The Great Picture Hunt” After nine years in hiding, so to speak, Waldo’s back. Yes, that’s how long it’s been since the last of these infuriating books showed up. This one’s much like the rest: Spend countless hours looking for a skinny, bespectacled guy in a red and white striped shirt, who hides on page after page of cartoon drawings, which are full of characters who look much like Waldo himself. The creators have updated the concept a bit – the search games are a little more complicated, so you’re looking for more than just Waldo – but it’s still as fun as it ever was. A bit of added suspense: This may finally be the book where there really is a picture without Waldo. Find out for yourself!
