The U.S. women’s national rugby team erased a five-point deficit and got all its scoring from Pam Kosanke and Ellie Karvoski to defeat Canada 25-10 at Pleasant View Complex in Boulder on Saturday. The teams are preparing for the women’s Rugby World Cup in Edmonton, Alberta, this summer.
UNC soccer signs Dakota Ridge’s Vandervelde
Sydney Vandervelde of Dakota Ridge High School signed a letter of intent Friday to play soccer at Northern Colorado. Vandervelde, a 5-foot-7 midfielder, was a two-time team captain and Dakota Ridge’s most valuable player this past season.
