New Western style combines the romanticism and mystique of the West with “contemporary panache.” In Marx’s work, that means a traditional American Indian rug might be paired with leopard-print upholstery for an effect that’s traditional yet edgy. Marx is in Denver today as part of the 2006 Distinctive Home Design Series at the Denver Design District.
