Aviation Technology Group Inc. announced these design changes to its Javelin aircraft: an increase in wing size, enhancement of wing lift devices and improvement to the canopy-opening mechanism. These constitute the last major design changes to the Javelin, freezing its configuration to enable suppliers to start producing the production airframe parts.
The Keller Williams Southwest Market Center expanded and moved to 5912 S. Cody St., Suite 100, Littleton. The company occupies nearly 12,000 square feet on three floors.
Case Logic, a supplier of organizational solutions, announced its sponsorship of the Journey of Hope cycling event to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. This is the second consecutive year that Case Logic has sponsored the event.
The Denver Chapter of the Society for Design Administration is embarking on its 25th year. At the recent national SDA convention, the Denver chapter won awards in the following categories: newsletter, networking/public awareness and annual project. The Members’ Choice awards for newsletter and education by design also went to the chapter.
Beginning today, Rocky Mountain Urgent Care expands its hours of operation at its Aurora location at East Mississippi Avenue and South Potomac Street. The facility will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Rocky Mountain Urgent Care’s other locations, in Englewood and Westminster, will continue to be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Colorado Livestock Association hosted its annual convention, “Our Legacy – America’s Future,” at the Omni Interlocken, June 22-24. During the convention, Kent Bamford of Haxtun was installed as president. Bamford succeeds Jim Docheff Jr. of Longmont.
During the banquet, retiring Colorado state Rep. Diane Hoppe was honored for her efforts in the legislature for rural Colorado and agriculture.
Starting Monday, First Horizon Bank, a division of First Tennessee Bank National Association, will open in the Denver Tech Center. The branch will not offer cash transactions but will provide consumer checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, personal loans, credit cards, investment products, financial planning, insurance, wealth management products, online banking and cashier’s checks.
National Jewish Medical and Research Center will bring its nationally recognized expertise in respiratory, allergic and immune diseases to Littleton beginning July 10. Physicians Kirstin Carel and Anne Lent will begin seeing patients of all ages at 1510 W. Mineral Ave., where National Jewish has provided sleep diagnostics and treatment since 2000.
