Is Britney Spears leaving her Malibu beach home for the quiet life of her native Louisiana? In Touch Weekly magazine reports the pregnant singer is planning to upgrade her mother’s Kentwood, La., home, according to the town Mayor Harold Smith. Spears is spending $200,000 for additions to her mother, Lynne’s, home, including a nursery and a room for her baby son Sean Preston, Smith said. Spears also is looking to buy a nearby second home for husband Kevin Federline to escape his mother-in-law. A six-month pregnant Spears has posed nude for the August cover of Harper’s Bazaar. The issue hits newsstands July 25.
Baby-shower pictures stolen from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been recovered by police officials, the New York Daily News reported. Gossip website TMZ.com reported FBI and Massachusetts authorities raided a Westfield, Mass., home Tuesday night, seizing the photos. Jolie’s brother, James Haven, was getting his camera repaired when two employees at Precision Camera and Video Repair in Enfield, Conn., discovered the pictures in the digital camera. Neither of the employees was arrested, TMZ reporetd.
Star Jones Reynolds launched a counterattack on Barbara Walters, who said she felt let down by the diva and that she was welcome on the set of “The View.” “For Barbara to say she felt betrayed is the height of hypocrisy,” Jones Reynolds told the New York Daily News, admitting she was told April 21 her contract would not be renewed. “After nine years, (Walters) didn’t call me. They told me my contract would not be renewed because my approval rating had gone down … I was like, whoa!” Meanwhile, a source told the Daily News, “The View” staff was glad to see Jones Reynolds leave, noting, “Star has very effectively alienated everybody on the show.”
Prince Harry was caught smooching ex-girlfriend Natalie Pinkham in a darkened stairwell at a party at 4 a.m. Wednesday in South Kensington, the Daily Mirror reported. One partygoer said Harry’s present girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, “hates the idea of other girls coming on to Harry while she’s not there. Especially Natalie.”
Pamela Anderson made good on a promise at an animal rights event in London at Stella McCartney’s boutique, Hello Magazine’s website reported. “I’m here to hopefully raise a lot of money, and if we raise enough I’ll strip naked in the shop window,” Anderson said as the event started. Anderson shed her white dress and bikini top and passers-by got a good look at the former “Baywatch” star.
Kathy Griffin is pulling a fast one on the second season of her Bravo reality series, “My Life on the D-List.” According to janetcharltonshollywood.com, the comedian and her husband of four years, Matthew Moline, are pretending to be happily married on the show. In “reality,” the website reports, Moline arrives early before cameras are turned on, pretending to still live in Griffin’s mansion. Charlton reports the couple remain friends, though Moline moved out last year.
Tori Spelling learned of father Aaron Spelling’s death last week through a BlackBerry e-mail from a friend, who heard the news on TV. Spelling told Us Weekly magazine, “My first thought was, I can’t believe my mom didn’t call me.” Aaron Spelling, 83, died at his Los Angeles estate June 23. Tori admitted her feud with her mother, Candy, continues and she had only seen her father once since September last year – a June 11 visit seven days before the producer suffered a stroke.
