Sounds of New Orleans
Fat City Mardi Gras Band
Memorial Park, West 25th Avenue and Chase Street, Edgewater, 6:30 p.m.
Edgewater calls itself the city of choice, and ours is to recommend getting yourself over to the gazebo at Memorial Park to take in a free concert, courtesy of the city. Fat City’s performance will be a salty, soulful way to get the long holiday weekend party rolling. The city’s Sunday concert series continues through Aug. 6.
