Angelina Jolie is insisting Brad Pitt clear his Malibu home of anything related to former wife Jennifer Aniston, the Daily Mirror reported.
On Jolie’s must-go list: any child-unfriendly furniture, some Frank Lloyd Wright side chairs and a Rene Herbst desk. “Ange can’t stand all the modernist furnishings,” a source told the Mirror.
Rob Lowe’s dream estate on his $8.5 million Montecito lot barely won approval recently. A 3-2 vote by the Montecito Planning Commission gave the actor the OK for his proposed 14,260-square-foot estate in Santa Barbara, Calif. Mystery writer Sue Grafton also lives in the same Picacho Lane neighborhood. Lowe proposes to build a 24-foot-high privacy hedge that would screen their estate from neighbor Fred Gluck, who said the hedge would partially block views of the Pacific. Lowe purchased the 3.4-acre, undeveloped property last year. He plans to build a 9,860-square-foot home with a 2,000-square-foot basement, an 800-square-foot guest house, an 800-square-foot second-story cabana with an 800-square-foot garage below.
Demi Moore and her former husband, Bruce Willis, have homes across the street from each other in Idaho. Their three daughters shuffle from house to house, and there has been a friendly competition between the former couple over who can have the coolest stuff at their homes. Willis upped the ante recently when he had a waterpark installed in his backyard. Moore’s husband, 28-year-old Ashton Kutcher, told his wife, “I’m going to live at Bruce’s house.”
The block where Humphrey Bogart grew up in New York’s Upper West Side now bears a plaque honoring the actor. In front of 245 W. 103rd St., a plaque renames the street as Humphrey Bogart Place. Born in 1899 to well-to-do parents, a surgeon and an illustrator, Bogart lived at the home until 1923. Bogart died in 1957. Movie buff and fellow kid from the block Gary Dennis collected more than 1,000 signatures to petition city officials to honor Bogart.
