Q: My boyfriend continually tells me stories about all these girls who wanted to go out with him. There doesn’t seem to be a girl that he has introduced me to that he states didn’t want to go out with him. I’m small-chested and he’s constantly making comments about girls’ physical body parts. He also tells me stories about girls that he finds that are cute. I feel more like one of the guys or a buddy then a girlfriend. Is this behavior normal?
What is he trying to tell me? I am finding it disrespectful. He states he loves me but continues this behavior when I’ve asked him to stop.
SCOTT: It’s completely disrespectful of your boyfriend to constantly talk to you about other women. How annoying! I hate to say it, (well, not really) but a situation like this requires some table-turning. You’ve got to give it like you get it! Tell him things like, “Say, check out that guy’s package – it looks absolutely enormous!” and “I really like guys with big pecs”. He won’t like it any more than you do, I promise. Oh and don’t forget to tell him about all the attention you’re getting from strangers and flirt with his friends too – a sure bet to get his attention.
Your boyfriend’s personal issues are showing big-time and he needs to learn that if he wants a relationship with you and doesn’t have something positive to say, he should keep his big mouth shut.
