Two Mullen football players, both sons of Broncos coaches, have given oral commitments to play Big Ten football, according to recruiting services.

Mullen senior-to-be Steve Watson Jr., a 6-foot-4, 240- pound tight end, has given an oral commitment to Michigan. Watson is the son of Broncos assistant coach Steve Watson, a former Broncos wide receiver.

Another Mullen senior-to-be, quarterback Clint Brewster, has committed to Illinois. He is the son of Broncos tight ends coach Tim Brewster. The 6-1, 190- pound Brewster is the No. 91 player overall nationally, according to ESPN.com. His father played tight end for the Illini in the early 1980s.

Rivals.com ranks Watson third among Colorado’s top 20 prospects, behind top-rated Columbine lineman Ryan Miller (No. 56 nationally by ESPN.com) and Montbello wide receiver Drew Davis.
