Q: What is the overall average elevation of Colorado?

A: With an average altitude of about 6,800 feet, Colorado is the highest contiguous state in the country. Roughly three-quarters of the country’s land above 10,000 feet is within the state’s borders. The state has about 830 mountains with an elevation between 11,000 and 14,000 feet.

There are also 54 fourteeners, peaks that have an elevation of 14,000 feet or higher.

Q: Where is the Denver Broncos training camp named Dove Valley?

A: The training camp is south of Arapahoe Road off Potomac Street on Broncos Parkway in Arapahoe County. The camp may also be reached from Peoria Street, which turns into Broncos Parkway. Camp is open to the public for morning and afternoon sessions beginning July 28.
