Sportsmen in northwest Colorado will be able to discuss a variety of issues at the Sportsmen’s Advisory Group meeting Tuesday in Grand Junction. This latest in a series of statewide meetings has an open agenda and is open to the public. The 7-9 p.m. gathering will be at the Doubletree Hotel, 743 Horizon Drive.
Pueblo boating safety
Anyone operating watercraft at Pueblo Reservoir should be alert to a large number of floating objects washed down from recent flash flooding. While most can be observed protruding from the surface, others are suspended just below. Diminished water clarity also makes these objects more difficult to see.
