MICROWAVE MEALS, SHED WEIGHT | Women who followed a 1,365-calorie diet in which they ate two packaged frozen entrees a day lost 5 pounds more in eight weeks than those who followed a diet based on the food pyramid, according to a 2004 University of Illinois study reported on in July’s Prevention magazine. They may not satisfy gourmet taste buds, but those low-cal frozen dinners are quick and easy.
