Jeri Ryan and chef Christophe Emé are getting married, the actress revealed during a press tour for her new CBS drama, “Shark,” which stars James Woods. Ryan and Emé are partners in the Los Angeles restaurant Ortolan. Ryan told “Entertainment Tonight” the wedding probably will be in June next year in the Loire Valley of France. “That’s when the rugby World Cup is in Paris. You know I am in love when I’m planning a wedding around a sporting event.”

Many an amateur cook probably has wanted to throw hot water on acid-tongued Gordon Ramsay. But when the British celebrity chef took on a team of four doctors from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Ramsay was accidentally sprayed with boiling hot stock in his face. Emergency specialist Lucy Bingham told the London Evening Standard: “I really thought I’d burnt his eye, I thought, ‘That’s it, forget the cooking, we’ve got to take him straight to emergency.”‘ Thankfully, Ramsay was unscathed. “I got away without any swearing from him because I think he found it quite amusing how I flipped so quickly into being a doctor,” Bingham added.

John Landis is making a flattering documentary on the life of Don Rickles. The “Animal House” director admits his first meeting with “Mr. Warmth” was in 1969, when he was 18 and working as a gofer on the Yugoslav set of “Kelly’s Heroes.” “There I was just doing errands like serving coffee to Don Rickles. And now I’m doing a documentary on him,” Landis told the New York Post.
