All aboard Ski Train

The Ski Train is taking passengers to Winter Park Resort on Saturdays through Aug. 26. All trips leave Denver’s Union Station (1701 Wynkoop St.) at 8:30 a.m. and depart from Winter Park at 3:30 p.m. The excursions take a little more than two hours each way. Once in Winter Park, passengers may choose from a variety of activites, including hiking, biking (there is no charge for on-train bike transport), mini-golf or picknicking along the Fraser River Trail. Round-trip coach tickets are $44 for adults, $39 for children 13 and under, $39 for seniors 62 or older and $39 for members of groups of 20 or more. Travel club meets

Budget Treasures Travel Club meets 6-7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at Ross U-Hills Library, 4310 E. Crowley County Days

Crowley County Days will be held through July 29 in Ordway. The week-long celebration of the founding of Crowley County includes a car show, a mud race, 4-H show and judging, a rodeo, a parade and a barbecue. Call 719-267-4444, ext. 259.

Healthy Gourmet Fest

The second annual Healthy Gourmet Fest is Wednesday-Friday. The Aspen Center for Integrative Health’s festival includes cooking classes, a summer health symposium, seminars on organic food and nutrition, wine tastings, and a gala dinner by top national chefs. Mountain Man meet

The Bayou Salado Mountain Man Rendezvous will be Thursday-Sunday in Hartsel. The authentic mountain man rendezvous features period dress and muzzleloader competitions. The public is welcome during the day, but period dress is required after 5 p.m. Contact Raven Gebhart at 970-310-7565.

Pony Express horse race

The Cripple Creek Pony Express Classic Horse Race is Friday-Sunday. More than 25 teams of riders will compete over a 2-mile course for a $50,000 overall purse. Family Fun Fest

The free Snowmagical Family Fun Fest will start Friday and run through Sunday at the Snowmass Village Mall. From a dine-around in local restaurants to performances by award-winning musicians and performers to street shows, the event promises something for all ages. Breckenridge art show

The fifth annual Main Street Station Art Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday-

Sunday at Main Street Station at Main and Park Avenue in Breckenridge. There will be 65 artists from 18 states, with one artist from Israel. Artists will present pottery, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, painting and more. Admission is free. Visit breckartfairs.com.

Winter Park jazz

The Winter Park Jazz Festival will be Saturday and Sunday and features Boney James, Lahah Hathaway and the Clarke/
