Christie Brinkley is “totally shocked and just devastated” by husband Peter Cook’s affair with his teen assistant, a friend of the former supermodel told People magazine. “(Brinkley) has been extremely concerned about the impact of this situation on her children and felt it was very important to protect them and take them away for a little bit,” the friend told People. Son Jack, 11, and daughter Sailor, 8, flew with their mom to Los Angeles to visit her parents. Diana Bianchi, 19, revealed her year-long relationship with Cook, 47, to Brinkley on June 25. Another former employee of Cook’s, Samantha Cole, since has admitted having a romantic relationship with the successful architect before he married Brinkley.
Someone has found the password to Lindsay Lohan’s BlackBerry and is sending the actress’ friends “disgusting and very mean messages,” her rep told the New York Post. Paris Hilton had a similar problem two years ago when her T-Mobile was hacked into and her private messages were put on the Internet. Lohan’s rep is threatening legal action if the messages do not stop.
Fred Durst’s mystery fianceé is Krista Salvatore, 20, the New York Post reported. The Limp Bizkit frontman announced his engagement on the band’s MySpace page. The two met Memorial Day weekend in Providence, R.I., where he’s directing his first film, “The Education of Charlie Banks.”

Jessica Simpson is deflecting reports she and her “Employee of the Month” co-star Dane Cook are an item. Cook is merely “one of my dear friends,” Simpson is quoted by MSNBC.com. The new divorcée reportedly was caught “making out” with Cook on July 11 at the Los Angeles club Hyde, Star magazine writes.
