We divert from our normal geography quiz to go looking for some names. This Denver couple was caught by an Associated Press photographer frolicking in the bullfighting ring just before the end of the famous San Fermin festival in Pamplona, Spain, earlier this month. Who are they and what the heck were they doing? Tell us who they are in a note to coloradosunday@denverpost.com. Include a digital photo of yourself, and please remember to include your hometown. The first person to come up with verifiable names wins a $50 gas card.
How’d you know?
Last week: Articulated Wall, Denver
WINNER: Brandon Borchert, Denver
Herbert Bayer, an Austrian Bauhaus master artist and instructor who lived in Aspen,
created this monumental concrete sculpture for the Denver Design Center in
1985. The “Articulated Wall” is meant to be viewed at many different angles by travelers
moving at high speeds along Interstate 25. Perhaps Bayer should have created another
sculpture to be seen during the notorious “25 on 25” rush hour!
