Getting your player ready...

Think you’ve got what it takes to suffer with the Primal Quest’s best? Go Primal Quest Lite and dip a toe in the waters of adventure racing first with the third annual Xstream Expedition Race. The three-day race may not destroy athletes like Primal Quest, but pain and delusional suffering is certainly on the Xstream Expedition menu. The 250-to-300-mile race outside Moab in early October offers all the endurance thrills of this year’s Primal Quest without the 100-degree days and $8,000 team entry fee. Organizers Will and Jenny Newcomer are charging a mere $395 per person for four-athlete teams. The expedition-length adventure race will feature trekking, mountain biking, whitewater paddling and ropes work in the rugged desert and mountain terrain surrounding Moab.
