Breckenridge art festival

The Breckenridge Arts Fairs is hosting the fifth annual Main Street Station Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at South Main Street and South Park Avenue in Breckenridge. The Festival features more than 60 artists from 20 states, with one artist from Israel. Artists will present ceramics, painting, mixed media, fiber, jewelry, wood and more. Admission is free. “Guitar Town”

Copper Mountain’s “Guitar Town” celebration will be Saturday and Sunday, featuring two days of live performances by acoustic guitarists and opportunities to bid on celebrity guitars during auctions. You also can purchase instruments and

Dance festival in Vail

The Vail International Dance Festival will be Sunday through Aug. 13. The Festival kicks off with legendary opera star Jessye Norman collaborating with choreographer Trey McIntyre for “The Diva, The Duke and The Dance,” featuring the music of Duke Ellington in song and dance, along with the world premiere of McIntyre’s “Go Out.” For a schedule of performances and ticket information, visit vvf.org.

Estes benefit concert

Music remembering John Denver and his love of the Rocky Mountains will mingle with strains of folk, country and bluegrass at a Friday concert to benefit the Next Generation Fund and to celebrate Rocky Mountain National Park and the 75th anniversary of its nonprofit partner, Rocky Mountain Nature Association. Brad and Kathy Fitch and the TropiCowboy Band will headline the concert in the meadow at Longs Peak Inn, south of Estes Park on Colorado 7. Also scheduled to perform are the Fiddlin’ Foresters, the “official old-time string band of the U.S. Forest Service.” Gates open at 3 p.m. Tickets are on sale at MacDonald Bookstore in downtown Estes Park, the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and the Rocky Mountain Field Seminar Center, or by calling 970-586-0108.
