Following six weeks of reconstruction, the Broadway on-ramp to southbound Interstate 25 will reopen in time for Monday morning commuter traffic, T-REX officials announced today.
The ramp, one of the most heavily-traveled in the city, will by open by 5:30 a.m. Monday, said T-REX spokeswoman Michelle Halstead.
Broadway is the last long-term closure scheduled for the project. All highway ramps and travel lanes that were part of the five-year, $1.67 billion project are scheduled to reopen Aug. 22.
T-REX expanded parts of I-25 and Interstate-225, and constructed 19 miles of light rail line.
The southeast light rail line will open Nov. 17.
