Lindsay Lohan’s mother called a studio executive’s scolding letter to the actress “way out of line” in an interview with “Access Hollywood.” In a letter, James G. Robinson, CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, chided Lohan’s behavior and doubted her absence was related to heat exhaustion. Part of the letter read: “We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called ‘exhaustion.”‘ Lohan’s reps and her mother, Dina Lohan, claimed the 100-plus heat while filming “Georgia Rules” worsens her daughter’s asthma. Paul McCartney offered his estranged wife Heather $56 million for a quickie divorce, the Sunday Mirror reported. Heather refused the offer, and their divorce appears headed for a messy courtroom battle. The Mirror reports Heather wants a settlement close to $375 million. The couple split in May.
Boy George will perform his court-ordered community service by picking up trash on city streets in the August heat, a New York sanitation spokesman said. The one-time Culture Club singer is due to report Aug. 14 for five days of work.
French actor Jean Reno (“The Da Vinci Code”) married model and actress Zofia Borucka on Saturday in the south of France, People magazine reports. Reno turned 58 on Sunday; Borucka is 35.
Will Ferrell and his wife, Viveca Paulin, are expecting their second child. The star of the upcoming film, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” made the announcement on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Asked if he is indeed the father, Ferrell joked, “I’m not the father. Chuck Norris is the dad – we’re so excited about that.” Ferrell, 39, and Paulin, 37, wed in 2000 and have a 2-year-old son, Magnus.
