A 45-year-old Fort Collins man is being held on $1 million bail after he allegedly sexually abused a boy after luring him into his home Sunday.

Tommy Robert Price faces felony charges of sexual assault on a child and first-degree kidnapping. Police are seeking information on other possible victims.

“We just want to make sure there aren’t any other possible victims out there,” said Fort Collins Police spokeswoman Rita Davis.

Price’s alleged victim Sunday, a 14-year- old boy, was treated for undisclosed injuries at Poudre Valley Hospital.

The boy knew Price before Sunday after meeting him through another acquaintance, Davis said.

The boy told police that Price offered him an opportunity to earn money and requested he come into his home to learn more about how. Once inside, Price provided the boy with alcohol and proceeded to physically and sexually abuse him, police said.

The 14-year-old left Price’s residence and returned home late Sunday. He told his father about the attack the next day. His father took him to the hospital and notified police. Price was arrested at his home Tuesday.

Prosecutors requested that Price be held without bail, but Larimer County Magistrate Janet Rodriguez set it at $1 million, said district attorney spokeswoman Linda Jensen, adding that Price was linked to a similar crime in Kansas.

“This is a very serious offense,” Jensen said.

Price’s address is 1841 Broadview Place. He previously lived at two other locations in Fort Collins – 2472 Wyandotte Drive and 820 West Mulberry St. Police are asking that anyone with information about the case call 970-221-6529.
