If Paul Wasicka doesn’t win another hand at the World Series of Poker, he’ll still walk away a millionaire.

Wasicka, a Westminster native, currently sits in fifth place at the WSOP, with just under $8 million in chips at the nine-person final Texas Hold ’em no-limit table today.

The first player eliminated today will walk away with $1.56 million. The winner will take home $12 million for conquering the largest field in WSOP history, 8,773. The entry fee was $10,000.

The chip leader is former Hollywood talent agent Jamie Gold, who has a commanding lead with over $26 million, according to cardplayer.com.

Here are the other finalists: Allen Cunningham $17,770,000; Richard Lee $11,820,000; Erik Friberg $9,605,000; Doug Kim $6,770,000; Rhett Butler $4,815,000; Michael Binger $3,140,000 and Dan Nassif $2,600,000.
