Auction for kids
Environmental Learning for Kids (ELK) will launch its Internet silent auction at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Hooked on a cure
A number of fly-fishing celebrities will join anglers from across the nation in Vail on Sunday-Tuesday to participate in the annual “Hooked on a Cure” event to support the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Among the participants will be Flip Pallot, host of the Walker’s Cay Chronicles; Tommy Sanders of ESPN Outdoors; and fly-fishing notables John Barr and Mel Kreiger.
Host Fly Fishing Outfitters will supply up to 20 guides for an event that will visit several waters in the Eagle River Valley. For information, 256-764-3077.
