Dear Great Scott,
My honey likes to lounge out with his feet and legs on my coffee table leaving foot debris behind. It bugs me but what do you think? Am I being too picky? (I also think he slouches too much!)

Everyone knows bad posture is not attractive. You could try physically using your hands to straighten him when you catch him slouching and you could teach him to always imagine a yard stick attached to his spine to help keep him erect, but then I start feeling like he’s a puppet. I’m also not sure what you mean by “foot debris” but in relationships, what matters most is consideration, compromise and respect; him with his debris and you with your posture criticism.
Choose your battles wisely, look for the good in your mate and gently address only what’s necessary because in the end, most of us aren’t changing much.
