Samuel L. Jackson dealt with “Snakes on a Plane” in his latest film. After the actor and his actress wife, LaTanya Richardson, bought a Beverly Hills mansion, they faced “Naked Photos of Roseanne Barr,” the former owner of the $8.9 million home. “We bought the house from Roseanne,” Jackson was quoted by the Sun. “The scary thing about that was she said: ‘Samuel, I left some nude pictures around for you in various different places.”‘ The home has nine bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 11,000 square feet, so it may take a while for Jackson to discover the pics.

The owners of Katharine Hepburn’s Fenwick, Conn., home are trying to keep the actress’ influences alive. Frank and Barbara Sciame have added portraits of the film star in many of the rooms, the New York Post’s Liz Smith reports. The couple also elevated the house about 8 feet so the waves of Long Island Sound will not wash the home.
Ann Curry, news anchor for the “Today” show, and her husband, Brian Ross, have not even moved into their upper West Side home. But angry neighbors are suing the couple, seeking $915,000 in damages because of noisy renovations on their four-story townhome on West 71st Street, the New York Post reports. Curry and her husband bought the home for $2.9 million in November 2003. “Wherever there’s a disaster, (Curry) goes to show that people care,” one plaintiff, Dr. John Lee, told the Post, “She’s got a disaster on West 71st Street, and she’s not doing anything about it.” Curry’s lawyers feel tenants are trying to exploit their client to gain money for their own home improvements. A New York Buildings Department spokesman said there have been multiple complaints about Curry’s home. A stop-work order was issued on July 31.
