Three local Hyatt hotels are readying a new service that will allow travelers to check their luggage in the hotel lobby before leaving for the airport.
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announced Wednesday it has partnered with Orlando, Fla.-based Baggage Airline Guest Services to offer the service. Guests will pay $10 per person for up to two pieces of luggage.
Denver is one of seven cities to initially offer the program. It will be available at the Grand Hyatt Denver and the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center by the end of the month and at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center Denver by the end of the year.
“I think it’s going to be very popular, especially with the current regulations where you have to check all your liquids,” said Grand Hyatt general manager Ed Bucholtz.
The service is available for travel on most major airlines.
Hyatt also offers kiosks where guests can print boarding passes and check in or out.
