University of Colorado president Hank Brown met with Lisa Simpson and her mother and father Friday, according to a statement Wednesday by Simpson’s lawyer, Baine Kerr.
“Both President Brown and Ms. Simpson appreciated the opportunity to meet face to face to discuss Ms. Simpson’s experiences and concerns, but have agreed to keep the details of the meeting confidential,” the statement said.
Simpson and another woman, who has asked not to be named, claim football players and recruits crashed a 2001 party at Simpson’s apartment and sexually assaulted them.
A judge twice has thrown out their lawsuit, which claimed the university was culpable for tolerating an environment dangerous for women.
