Matrix Bancorp Inc., a Denver-based holding company, announced it has changed its name to United Western Bancorp Inc., and that it has likewise changed the name of its principal operating subsidiary from Matrix Capital Bank to United Western Bank. The change was approved by shareholders in June.
Stonebridge at Twin Peaks Apartments, a 172-unit apartment complex at 2424 Ninth Ave. in Longmont, sold for $18.5 million. Stonebridge LLLP purchased the property from ATID Interests. Marcus & Millichap brokers Dave Potarf and Dan Woodward brokered the sale.
