Denver-based JohnstonWells Public Relations announced Tuesday it has acquired the firm started this summer by Tracy Aiello.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but Aiello’s Center Reach Communications will bring 15 clients and $250,000 worth of existing business to JohnstonWells, according to chief executive Gwinavere Johnston.
“We’ve always believed that growth through acquisition is a smart way to go,” she said.
Aiello is a former partner at Denver’s Wall + Aiello Public Relations and a past president of the West Chamber of Commerce in Jefferson County. Her new title at JohnstonWells is senior counselor.
Clients coming with Aiello include the Kentwood City Properties and CTLThompson.
“I saw it as an opportunity to bring more resources to my clients,” she said.
Existing JohnstonWells clients include Qwest, McStain Neighborhoods and the Denver Regional Council of Governments.
