The Vail Cascade Resort & Spa announced today it has hired Dave Pease to serve as its new general manager.
Pease has more than 30 years of local industry experience, most recently as general manager of the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa. He also has served as general manager of several Denver-area Marriott properties, including the Denver Marriott Southeast and the Denver Marriott Tech Center, and as an area general manager for the chain.
“Couple his great experience in being an operator with his experience in the mountains, and we feel he’s a great fit for Vail Cascade,” said George Fischer, managing director for Destination Hotels & Resorts, which owns the Vail Cascade.
The Vail Cascade, which has 292 guest rooms, 79 condominiums and 11 private residences, has undergone $20 million worth of renovations over the past five years.
Englewood-based Destination Hotels owns 34 luxury hotels, including the Mountain Lodge at Telluride and The Gant in Aspen.
