Aaron and Nicole Keim
He plays in Boulder Acoustic Society and she performs with the Ars Nova Singers. They both teach music during the day. Together, Nicole and Aaron Keim create satisfyingly rootsy Americana that employs banjos, ukuleles and a bit of mischief. Their CD, “Born in the Country, Raised in Town” comes out tonight at the Trident Cafe, with Paul Weidig and Ryan Drickey. 940 Pearl St. in Boulder. 7:30 p.m. $5.
Suburban Homes’ 11th Anniversary
One of Denver’s best indie labels celebrates 11 years with a handful of shows across several venues on Saturday, including the Larimer Lounge, Three Kings Tavern and the Hi-Dive. Drag the River, Ghost Buffalo, Love Me Destroyer, Me Llamo Rosa and others will help celebrate. Visit
myspace.com/suburbanhome for times and locations.
Pee Pee
Don’t forget to bring your beer goggles and straw hats as this local indie collective takes over the Hi-Dive on Thursday. Their ramshackle, kitchen-sink folk should contrast nicely with Pattern Is Movement, a squirrely math-rock act from Philadelphia, and local indie rockers Laylights. 7 S. Broadway. 9 p.m. $7.
