Chow.com: Chow magazine meets chowhound.com on this new website. The upstart food magazine folded its print edition and moved its hipster content to the Internet, partnering with the Chowhound community. The site offers recipes, entertaining tips, restaurant reviews and fun interactive elements such as a customized timeline party plan. Titles like “10 Things to Do With Stale Bread” and “Something More Than Crappy Pilsner” put this site in our favorites list.|chow.com and chowhound.com

Colorado Crepe Co.: A perfect outdoor lunch – a thin, golden crepe wrapped around grilled chicken, ham or steak and fresh veggies. Half the fun is watching Alex Leon spin the crepe batter oh-so-thin onto the hot griddle. Look for his booth today at the Civic Center farmers market (it’s the last one this year), Saturday at the Golden farmers market, Sunday at Belmar in Lakewood, and Tuesday in Evergreen. Leon is shopping for a permanent location on the west side of town, but you can reach him by phone for catering. |720-338-9289|Kristen Browning-Blas

The Bagel Store: Don’t come to The Bagel Store and ask for a toasted
bagel with cream cheese or melted butter if you want your bagel toasted
and schmeared, you’ll have to do it yourself. But when you need a bag
of bagels for lazy Sunday-morning newspaper-reading sessions, The Bagel
Store is your resource. Bonus: Everything for sale is Kosher, which almost
always means it tastes better too. Show up before 2 p.m. or be disappointed
that the shop is closed. | 942 S. Monaco Parkway, 303-388-2648
