GADGET|Everybody deserves an MP3 player – even preschoolers. Toy juggernaut Fisher Price certainly thinks so in creating the FP3 Player. The player seems durable, you can purchase additional songs and stories from the FP3 online site or rip your own CDs, and it doesn’t get too loud. However, the headphones’ foam earpieces come off too easily, it’s not Mac-compatible, and it is pricey for a 128MB player. Overall, though, it’s a good way to introduce kids to the world of portable audio. The list price is $70. |CNet.com
DON’T-MISS TV|A politician’s brother discovers he can fly, a cheerleader learns she is physically indestructible, a geek in Japan finds he can bend time, an artist becomes aware that he is painting scenes from the future, and a geneticist in India travels to New York to continue his father’s work on DNA and people with superpowers. It’s a knockoff of “Lost,” but NBC’s “Heroes,” at 7 p.m. on KUSA-Channel 9, is a serial drama for sci-fi buffs.|Joanne Ostrow
