The following recall has been announced:
–About 32,000 cases of nacho-flavored tortilla chips, manufactured by Snack Alliance Inc., because the chips may contain undeclared soy protein, which can cause some people to have an allergic reaction.
Packages of tortilla chips included in the recall: Laura Lynn and Southern Home brand chips, sold in 13-ounce packages in the southeastern U.S.; Kid Connection brand chips, sold as a component in 1-ounce Kid Connection variety snack sacks with Julian code dates of 17706 to 19106, at Wal-Mart stores nationwide; Filler brand chips, sold in 1-, 1.5- and 9-ounce packages in Puerto Rico; Food Express Cantina Style chips, sold in 16-ounce packages in Ohio; and Food Lion brand chips, sold as a component in 1-ounce packages of Food Lion Variety snack sacks in the eastern U.S.
