Scattered showers fell across the Great Lakes, New England and Florida on Tuesday, while the West was warm and dry.

A cold front dipped into the nation’s midsection, also bringing light to moderate rain across the region. Gusty winds up to 30 mph were reported in parts of the Northern Plains.

California’s coast was under low clouds, which kept the region cool. It was warm and dry in the southern Great Plains.
