KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-
A Delta Air Lines flight from Paris to Atlanta was diverted Thursday after passengers reported smelling smoke in the cabin.
It was unclear where the smoke came from, and no injuries were reported, Delta spokeswoman Betsy Talton said.
Delta Flight 21 originated at Charles de Gaulle Airport and was en route to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The plane made an emergency landing after 1:30 p.m. at McGhee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville, officials said.
The passengers boarded another Delta aircraft four hours later to take them to Atlanta.
Normal traffic at the Knoxville airport resumed shortly after the landing, an airport official said.
