Despite its chilling title and a label showing a lone cabin surrounded by piles of snow, Isolation Ale is a winter warmer, just right for the season.
Made by Odell Brewing of Fort Collins, Isolation Ale is essentially unchanged since its introduction in 1997 with lots of malt imported from England perfectly balanced by Northwest hops, with none of the spicy/
fruity flavors often found in winter beers.
Isolation, which was released Monday, is expected to be in stores through December in very limited quantities.
