GREELEY – Police on Tuesday identified a 15-year-old boy who died in a Weld County accident that injured three other people.
Enrique Bustillos of Greeley was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, where he died several hours after Monday’s accident.
A Dodge Stratus driven by Tania Bustillos, 17, of Greeley failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Weld County Road 37 and Aa Street, according to a police news release. The car was broadsided on the right side by a Ford truck about 3:30 p.m., police said.
Tania Bustillos was taken to Northern Colorado Medical Center with serious injuries. The two other passengers in the car, Miguel Bustillos, 12, and Destiny Bustillos, 3 months, were taken to Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the truck, Gene Decker, 55, of Loveland had minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
