CHICAGO-
Three adults were found dead and a teenager was found critically injured Saturday in an apartment on the city’s South Side, police said.
Officers responding to a 911 call discovered the four family members with “blunt trauma wounds,” said police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
Elnora White, 80, Curtis White, 56, and Elnoria Countee, 52, were dead when police arrived, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Police also found a 14- or 15-year-old girl who was admitted to a hospital in critical condition, Bond said.
She said police were questioning one person about the deaths but declined to elaborate. Autopsies were scheduled for Sunday.
