COMMERCE CITY – A teenager was killed and another person was critically injured after their northbound car drifted into the southbound lane and hit a van head-on.
The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon in the 9500 block of Tower Road.
Commerce City police said the two people in the car were not wearing seat belts. The two people in the white van were wearing their seat belts and were not injured.
The car’s passenger, a female from Brighton, was killed. The car’s driver was taken to Denver Health Medical Center with critical injuries, police said.
