Jennifer Lopez still has some diva in her. According to airlinecrew.net, a website for airline employees, J.Lo got upset when a flight attendant told the singer-actress she could not make her a double espresso. The flight attendant’s blog claimed Lopez “yelled at me because I could not make her a double espresso and then she told me my shoes looked cheap.” If you want cheap, the flight attendant should have mentioned that dress J.Lo wore at the Grammys a few years ago.
Mischa Barton, quoted by bangshowbiz.com, said she cannot get enough of British cuisine. The former star of “The O.C.” was born in London but moved to New York when she was just 5. “I love all the mashed potatoes, the mushy peas and the Brussels sprouts,” Barton admitted. “And, oh my God, Cadbury’s chocolate! It is so much better than Hershey’s.” Barton, skinny as a rail, must not sample the British fare much. And, let’s hope she’s not planning any trip to Hershey, Pa., any time soon.
Mario Batali can cook, but his taste in attire still needs some work. The Food Network host recently arrived at the New York premiere of the movie “Infamous” in shorts, colored socks and his trademark orange Crocs, according to tmz.com. We appreciate Batali promoting the local footwear company, but mix in a sports jacket every now and then, Mario.
Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas beauty, told Shape magazine that in her mid-20s her personal life was foundering. “I was really unhealthy, and I ended up weighing 90 pounds,” said the 5-foot-4 singer, who has improved her eating habits and works out regularly. “My favorite breakfast is a bagel with cottage cheese and tomatoes. I heat it up, so the cheese melts a bit like a pizza.” Fergie watches what she eats, but noted, “my favorite splurge is pizza dipped in ranch or blue cheese dressing. It’s always a conversation with myself: Do I want to do this? I really work it out in my head, whereas before I didn’t think about it at all.”
