Jennifer Aniston is buying her first home since divorcing Brad Pitt. The actress is purchasing a 9,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home designed by modernist architect Hal Levitt for about $15 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. Aniston had a year lease on a two-bedroom Malibu beachfront home for $25,000-$30,000 a month. Aniston and Pitt sold their Beverly Hills mansion for nearly $25 million in April.
Nicolas Cage has his seven-bedroom, seven-bath, two-story Bel Air estate on the market for $35 million, tmz.com reports. The property, featuring a pool, projection room, library, custom-built wine cellar and state-of-the-art security system, is just a mile from the famed “Beverly Hillbillies” mansion where the fictional Clampett family lived.
Tommy Hilfiger has purchased a four-bedroom, 6 1/2-bath apartment for $18 million in The Plaza in New York City, the New York Post reported. Among Hilfiger’s neighbors: New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Italian businessman and Formula One racing team owner Flavio Briatore.
Donald Trump likes his large American flags. For the second time in the past few months, Trump has been cited for erecting a large flagpole on his Palm Beach, Fla., property. Trump hung a 15-by-25 foot flag from an 80-foot-tall pole at his Mar-a-Lago Club home. That is 15 times larger than what the town code allows, the Palm Beach Post reported. Earlier this summer, the Donald had a 70-foot flagpole erected at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. The City Council voted 3-2 to allow the flag to remain.
Mira Sorvino has been evicted from her New York apartment. She claims it’s because she doesn’t spend enough time in New York. The Oscar-winning actress told New York magazine she has owned the apartment for 13 years and the building’s landlords “want the units cleared so they can turn it into a luxury rental. You’re not in New York for six months, and they’re like, ‘You’re outta here.’ I’m a little bitter. Can you tell?”
